We're very pleased to announce that we have taken delivery of two Merlin promatic clay pigeon traps. These are excellent additions and will make delivering Corporate Clay Pigeon Shoot that much easier as they are very portable and still provide the ability to throw a great clay. We can now offer shooting events at our home base in Merrist Wood College as well as coming to your site (Subject to ground clearance by our staff). Get in contact now to arrange your Christmas party.

Fantastic day out today, a really good layout with some challenging birds. The flush was interesting as predicted and we cleared a slab each by the end of the day, looking forward to cleaning the gun later. Was great to bump into some old faces and will be setting up some shoots at various grounds in the future.
We're currently in the process of getting new grounds to shoot from, with access to shoot every weekend we shall be up and running again soon till we find our permanent home. Watch this space for details and further information.
We have had notification from the council that we are currently no longer allowed to run our shoot for the foreseeable future. Those of you who have prepaid for tuition will have a full refund. Our current priority is to find new grounds and be up and running as soon as possible.
Just been on a walk with the Farmer around the grounds and we both have come to the conclusion that due to excessive rain fall over the past week, we cannot run the shoot this weekend for safety reasons and we are going to postpone until 29/03/13 Good Friday.
Those of you who have pre-booked lessons with Paul, we can either move them to this date or I can reserve another date in the future. We’re looking at entering into the Surrey Clubman Classic League looking at a possible start time of May. I have putthe flyers CPSA have produced for this competition below which is basically an inter-Club League with 6+ Clubs participating in a series of 70 Bird Sporting fixtures with each Club holding one shoot and putting together a team of up to 20 shooters consisting of 4 'B class' and 16 'C Class' & 'Unclassified/non CPSA' shooters. It is the top 10 scores from each team which counts towards a Clubs League position so therefore a minimum of 10 is all that is needed to stay competitive throughout. CPSA are providing trophies at the end of the League for the Winning Team, Runner Up Team, Individual High Gun, Runner Up, Class Winners (Teal, Crow & Rabbit), Ladies, Vets, Juniors & Colts so something for pretty much everyone and the running results will be featured on their website and in PULL! magazine. Ultimately there is talk of a Champions League event where the winning teams from each League compete for the Overall Champions title. We’re in with a shout! If I can get an indication of how many people are interested in joining in this competition I will get us registered.
